Aman Tokyo is opening!
It’s been long rumored that Aman Tokyo would open, but it’s real.
It is opening on 22 December 2014 for limited visitors
and is going to be fully launched on Spring 2015.
The garden reception is so breathtaking as if you were in somewhere one of Aman Resorts,
not in central Tokyo.

旧パレスホテル時代から高い人気を誇るレストラン。
1964年創業、フランスの名店「ラ・ピラミッド」監修による、
「クラウン」独自のメニューが満喫できる老舗の店舗です。
そのレストランが2014年9月に50周年を祝い
2015年3月から店内で展開する「50周年特別メニュー」として、
旧クラウンのシグネチャーメニューを現代風に再現した
「ネオクラシックコース」と、
これからのクラウンを背負うキュイジーヌ・モダンの
「クリエイティブコース」の2種を発表し、
春に先駆けて賞味会が行われました。
料理のテーマは「伝統と革新」。
気取りのない温かな雰囲気ながら、
ジャケットを必要とする品格のある店内では
シェフやソムリエ、パティシエ、メートルドホテルらの
プロフェッショナルなサービスが満喫できます。

The French Restaurant Crown Unleashes Their 50th Anniversary Special Menu!
The French restaurant Crown at Palace Hotel Tokyo has been very popular and has a high reputation since the era of the original Palace Hotel.
First launched in 1964, the well-established La Pyramide in France supervised Crown’s own menu and you can enjoy the time-honored restaurant.
The restaurant celebrated their 50th anniversary on September 2014 and they have hosted the preview party for their “50th anniversary special menu” scheduled to launch on next March. The menu has 2 courses, “neo classic course” that recreates its predecessor Crown’s signature menu in a modern way and “creative course” that represents new Crown’s cuisine modern.

What I have found from staying at top-tier hotels at Hong Kong in a row are not only the awesome experiences but also the clear distinctions among the hotels in foods at the restaurants and their services.
As were expected, their services and foods as well as rooms have their own charm.
They are “The Ritz-Carlton”, “InterContinental Hong Kong”, “Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong” and “Grand Hyatt Hong Kong”.
Each hotel has their distinct strength and has their own strong statement.
It’s really exciting since they show what the globalism in hotels is like!

At the 「Kissho CAREN」 in Izu Hokkawa Hot Spring,
I saw a marvelous sun rise in the Pacific Ocean,
And felt so good in the natural hot spring.
